TEXAS BANK AND TRUST

YOU HAD BETTER READ THE FINE PRINT BECAUSE THEY THROW IT AT YOU!!! AND, THEY DON”T SEEM TO CARE AT ALL AND SIMPLY “GHOSTED” ME WHEN I ASKED FOR SIMPLE INFORMATION!!

What happended? The fraudsters stole 4 original checks and counterfeited new ones with the same check number and amount so our QuickBooks reconciliation didn’t catch that the Payee was different and the bank HAS NO ALERT SYSTEM FOR PROTECTION for a payee named Elsy Chicas ($15,868.76), Makayla Price ($8,877.67), Amber Thille ($8523,65) or Artrillion Smith Jaber ($11,733.78) FROM A BUSINESS ACCOUNT. Our experience with every other bank we use has been better (Wells Fargo, Regions, Chase) AND WE HAVE (OR ARE IN THE PROCESS) of closing all our accounts with TEXAS BANK AND TRUST.

FACT: TEXAS BANK AND TRUST FAILED to cooperate with Law Enforcement (Exhibit A)

FACT: TEXAS BANK AND TRUST (through Ty Maxfield) refused to investigate further or provide details as to the fraudsters (Exhibit B). When I asked for more information, Ty simply “ghosted” me.

FACT: TEXAS BANK AND TRUST (through Gary Mulholland) stated that their Risk Management group was handling the matter but, to date, has ignored and refused to provide any response including the name of anyone in TEXAS BANK AND TRUST that I could contact. Then, Gary simply “ghosted” me.

FACT: When my attorney sent a demand letter to TEXAS BANK AND TRUST, their attorney’s response said that the law originally said a customer had 1 year to report the fraud, but that he “personally” argued to the Texas Supreme court that the time frame could be lowered from 1 year to 30 or 60 days through the Terms of Service — GOOD FOR HIM AND TEXAS BANK AND TRUST — VERY BAD FOR US!!!

FACT: Their Attorney states that we notified TEXAS BANK AND TRUST at 70 days and not 60 days “Consequently your client’s notification to the Bank was untimely.”
